ICC Diwali Dhamaka 09 - a resounding success

 

The ICC Diwali Dhamaka on Friday, October 23rd evening to benefit our ICC senior program was a resounding success. The community came together to celebrate the festival of Diwali in a colorful extravaganza in the Malavalli Auditorium of the ICC. The leadership of the ICC Diwali Dhamaka was provided by Gopi Godhwani, Bhawana Agarwal and Tavinder Wadhwa.

The event was spectacular due to the breathtaking entertainment provided by The Mona Sampath Dance Company, the ever amazing and inspirational Jollywood dancers, the energetic and enthusiastic Stay fit dancers.

The ICC Karaoke team spun a melodious web to captivate the audience and the comedians  Jai Pugaliya and  Nitin Kant had the crowd in splits. DJ Salim rocked the audience with an amazing playlist of songs and the audience danced till the wee hours of the morning. Raja Jain, Divya Patel and Janani Chalakas were the glue that kept the whole program together with their amazing emceeing.

Dosa-i-Place, were the caterers who provided scrumptious food for this festive occasion

The dedicated senior and other volunteers and the ICC staff provided support throughout the evening. The event sponsors were, Direct TV, State Farm Insurance, The Indian Express, PNG Jewelers Inc. and Print 13. Bala Joshi, the Co-President of the ICC Board of Directors, and Ajay Soni, made an emotional appeal to raise funds for our beloved seniors in the Fund-A-Need done just for the seniors on that day. The event brought young and old together to celebrate under one roof.
